Jouons du piano! (Let's play piano!)

In just the few days that we've had a piano in our home, we have already noticed a difference. The boys immediately explored the new "toy" and enjoy helping Maman play, too. We just enjoyed a lovely evening of all taking turns playing a little. It's so nice to have the sound of a piano brightening our home! Vive la musique! (Long live music!)

Sam 9-month Collage

I just adore these cute pictures of Sam taken around the time he turned 9 months. I can't believe how fast he is growing up! Such a cutie... (sure, I'm biased, but I'm supposed to be, right?)

Happy Easter!

We had a lovely Easter dinner at Pat's house. Between Pat, Uncle Michael, and the rest of us bringing "something" we enjoyed lamb, scrumptious rice, Greek salad, french bread, Gigi's spinach feta "triangles," and many desserts (key lime cheesecake, banana cream pie, chocolate peppermint bark, Greek candy and cookies, and Fife's Delight). A friend from our neighborhood, Laurin, was able to join us and had a good time, too.

Easter Egg Hunt

We had a lovely little Easter Egg Hunt at Rock Canyon Park. Ollie and Niko loved searching for eggs and playing with their Papas at the park. Gigi joined us at the end as well. Fun time!

The above and below pics were taken by Tata Ang. Merci beacoup!

Pinata... new experience, for sure.

Papas tawkin'
Tata Ang showed Niko where the Pinata candy was. Ollie did a great job sharing!

You mean we can actually eat all this? Alright!

Baz is such a big boy on the slide!

Saturday is a special day...

Chris participated in our stake's 5k today, and I was able to run my first 10k in the Rex Lee Run. Unfortunately, we had some mix-ups about the car and cameras, so we didn't get pictures of Chris's race. :( He did great, though, I promise. Yeah for an active family!!

Our friends, the Smiths, had a birthday party for their son, Carter, who just turned 2. It was at the Lehi Legacy Center and the kids had a blast playing with more balls than they could hold. :)

This is our stake's "Battle of the Bulge" - bishopbric members vs. stake leaders. Chris escaped with only a slight head wound. He had a lot of fun, though... as did Niko and I on the sidelines.

Skiing with Ashton

Amber agreed to watch our boys this afternoon and Ashton took me skiing at Sundance. It was such a fun afternoon! Ashton is an expert skier. I am continually relearning each time I go, but Ashton was very patient and encouraging. I loved having her there to help me learn and remember different things. I became even more comfortable than when Chris and I went last month. Thank you so much, Ashton!!!

February Scrapbook pages

Here are some fun pics from February chez la famille Pelissie (at the home of the Pelissie family). It turns out I had the settings wrong on the resolution, so I'll have to fix that, but here's at least the mockup.

March Came In Like a Lyon

Maybe March came in like a lamb, but I thought about my Lyon grandparents as I watched my boys enjoy the outdoors so much already this month. Here Niko just had to be outside and thankfully left his sweater on. I love the sweater so much - my Aunt Roxanne made it for Niko when he was born. He's worn it since he was around 6 months old.

Sam being a "supportive" little brother. :)

Play hard, sleep hard. This is what happens when
our little 2-year-old spends his nap time playing in his room instead of sleeping.

Such a love! I just want to eat him up!

"Hug!"

Niko being a good helper. "Tu aide le bebe avec le lait? Bien fait, Nicolas!"
