Little Digger

When we were in London this past May, Sam was playing in his Tata's backyard. Before we knew it, he had un-potted one of her plants. The video doesn't capture how intent he was on his job nor how frantic he was to get just a few more scoops out once he was discovered. In any case, I think it's pretty cute.

Niko has been requesting to see himself on video (on the computer) more and more. It's really fun to review older videos and to see him so interested in them. :)

Halloween Costumes

Voila Woody! Today was the first time Niko saw and put on the entire costume. He was pretty excited to have a star on his chest just like Woody.

Believe it or not, this is the best
picture I got of the two of them so far.

Our little froggy doesn't like the froggy head.

The best part for Sam was playing with the zipper.

"Mirror, mirror, on the wall..."

Woody is definitely the favorite

Pelissie Halloween Party

We had such a fun Pelissie Halloween Party last night. I enjoyed making candied apples and brownies to contribute. :)

For the first time in five years, the weather was warm enough to have our party outside. It was so much fun to gather around the fire, eat yummy food, and carve pumpkins while the boys and dogs ran their hearts out in Marc and Angi's lovely backyard.

Vampire Blood Soup was a favorite! Great job, Ang.

Super yummy grilled cheese sandwiches and "Baked Fingers" -
the chicken fingers were baked with ranch dressing with Uncle Kiko in mind.

Happy, hungry boys!

Sammy was strapped in the swing for essentially
the entire evening... and a complete angel!

Baz loving the glow sticks

Ollie loving the fire

Boys Around the House

The boys love to play in our bedroom. As I was getting laundry sorted, they thought it would be so fun to get into the baskets. I guess it was...

Niko is definitely being indoctrinated this football season. He loves to play "football americain avec Papa" (football with Papa). And Papa loves it, too.
I'm the couch potato in the family, but I don't feel at all guilty when I get to snuggle with my boys on either side of me and point things out to them. I can't get enough of snuggling with them!
It's become a bit of a tradition this season for me to make my "Touchdown Taco Dip" for home games. I think it has to do with the football indoctrination and that Papa is doing it, but Niko loves it, too! Yes, the chips probably have something to do with it. :)

Look! He's eating!! Yeah!

La Famille Hoopes

Ben Hoopes and Chris served their missions together and we have loved staying in touch with him and now his little family. Laurie and Elliot and Ben were able to visit with us for a couple of hours and we had a fun time at the park together. Thanks for a great visit, guys! Merci beaucoup!

Angi's Fabulous Photos of My Boys

When we went to the Hee Haw Farm last week, Angi took time to take some fantastic pictures of our boys. Now these are some great pictures!! On the top of my to-do list is to make a collage using my favorite pictures. Here are the top picks. Aren't they great?! Thank you so much, Ang!

Thank you, thankyou, Tata Ang!!!
