The bishopric members and their wives were privileged to attend Girls' Camp on Friday evening, the girls' last night at camp. The bishopric made dinner and the wives and girls waited patiently. :) It was a really yummy dinner of Navajo tacos. Bishop Arrendondo rolled out the dough. Chris had the job of frying them in oil. Brother Grow (Tanner) had the job of laying a fire.

Tanner bravely captured a couple of "potguts" - resident rodents. :)

This fire was extremely well-laid, but we (the ladies)
were all a little nervous about its size.

We enjoyed skipping rocks on the pond.

Isn't it beautiful?

A little Bambi :)

Chris showed me a gorgeous view from this perch.

And finally, the huge pile was lit.

It was so nice and warm...

This is from several more feet back. The 7-foot high
wood structure produced flames even higher.

"Biggest roasting stick of all time"

The well-built fire came down safely, too.

Thanks for a really fun evening, everyone!
It was so nice to be a part of Girls' Camp, even just for a few hours. :)
