Bear Lake with Clawsons

Ashton, Brandon, and I started training for the Bear Lake Triathlon earlier this summer. We've pushed our triathlon debut to 2009, but decided to go up to Bear Lake anyway for a little vacation. We were there for Thursday September 4th through Saturday September 6th.

When we stopped for gas in Evanston, we saw these cute German Shepherds.
They were so intent waiting for their owner. I missed Butch for a few minutes. :(

We ventured to the beach on Friday - Niko is definitely Chris's son.
He loved getting in the water, despite the temperature of only 60 degrees.

Ashton loved the water, too.
Niko laid down next to her and said,
"To Infinity and Beyond!" just like Buzz Lightyear. :)

So pretty... just wish it had been warmer. :)

We finally found the best sleeping arrangement with Sam in
one bathroom. It was a pretty tight fit, but it worked!
