Tree Permits

It has become tradition for Angi and I to go to Soldier Hollow in Midway, UT on the appointed early November morning to purchase permits to cut our own Christmas trees. Again this year, we bundled up in layers, clutched our hot cocoa, and waited an hour in our lawn chairs in order to pay our $10 and receive a tree permit. We were surprised how light it was, since our memory of previous years was that it was pitch black for most of the wait time. It wasn't as frigid as it could have been, so we were grateful for that, too. We had a great time chatting about all sorts of things. After we completed our mission, we enjoyed a leisure breakfast at Magleby's... mmm... I had a fantastic "girls morning out" and am already looking forward to next year. :) Wow - time flies. Thanks so much for a fun morning, Ang!

  1. It flew by this year, and didn't seem as cold as usual. I still have to get used to the wake-up time. Can't wait until next year!
