Traditionally, Marc likes to have a marzipan cake for his birthday. It's a real treat every year. This year, we couldn't get a cake from the bakery where it is usually purchased. Pat decided to make a marzipan cake from scratch. This is no small feat. It involves sponge cake, raspberry jelly layer, yellow cake layer, and of course the marzipan topping. It was a lot of work and tasted great. Eric even commented that it was the best one he had ever tasted. Great job, Pat!
