Thursday, December 4th, we headed out for the family adventure. We felt very grateful for our comfy vehicle. We had 3.5 excited boys (including Sunny and an active little Matt). Papa and Maman really enjoyed their heated seats during the drive. :)
We began with lunch in Heber at Dairy Keen,
a.k.a. the Train Restaurant. We were so pleased
with how much Niko ate of his chicken fingers.

Sam and Ollie have the first turn in the sleds.
I wish you could see the glee on Sam's face.
He loved being pulled in the sleds.

This is the 30 seconds of stopped motion for the doggies. They joyfully tromped around the entire time. We realized that the first time we cut down our trees in 2004, Ollie was 3 months old and we had 4 dogs with us. This time, 4 years later, we went to almost the same spot, but with 2 dogs and 4 kids. :)

Through the woods...
Marc pulled the older boys
in the sled on the road while
Ang, Chris, and I continued the hunt.

Cozy cozy boys in the warm Jeep
Ollie also enjoyed a turn hanging out in our car
watching Mulan while the Papas tied down the trees.

Thanks for such a great day, guys!

how fun did that look! wish we could do that. I broke down last year and actually bought a fake tree. still wish we had a real one.
