I have had a reverence for American soldiers ever since I visited the D-day beaches in 1998. I get very emotional when I try to express my gratitude for those who have served our country. It was a lovely Memorial Day weekend this year and I went with my boys and my Uncles to visit my grandparents grave. I appreciate those who have died fighting in combat for freedom. Perhaps it is even more difficult to struggle through life after having fought for freedom. I encourage all Americans to continue the fight by standing up for what is right.
