La Musique

One of Niko's favorite movies is the Sound of Music (we call it "La Musique"). From the first time he watched it, he was mesmerized by the songs. I, too, love it and am thrilled that he enjoys it in both French and English. A friend of mine sent this video to me in an email and I almost didn't watch. I'm so glad I did. I'm almost afraid to admit that I teared up watching it - it's not sad at all. Perhaps it's the mandatory emotions near the surface around Mother's Day. There is just something so motivating to me about music and coordination. I think what got me was seeing so many people of different ages and dress coming together in that one moment in such a positive way. I loved the faces of the onlookers. Their expressions mirrored mine. Hope you like it, too.
