MTC

I was 10 years old when my brother, Michael, was born. I loved him like a mini-mommy. He had the most gorgeous blond curls. He lit up our family's life as a toddler when my Grandmother first had her stroke and struggled to survive. Now he has grown a foot or two and is called on a mission to the Belgium-Brussels mission and will teach the gospel in the French language. We are so thrilled for him.

Monday, April 20th, we were able to go to the temple together - Uncle Michael Lyon, me, Elder Michael Clawson, Ashton, Mom, and Dad. Thanks to Gigi for watching all three boys for me!

Wednesday the 22nd, I displayed the Belgian flag and a couple balloons out front (the black balloon popped as soon as I got it home).

We went out to breakfast before the MTC, courtesy of my Grandpa Clawson. When Michael put Niko in the car, he said, "I'm gonna miss you!" Niko replied, "I'm gonna miss you, too!" I know the time will fly, but the boys will change so much while he's gone!

Nine and a half years ago, I entered the MTC. My sweet brother, Michael, teared up saying good-bye to me. They now don't allow pictures to be taken in the room where you say good-bye, so you don't get to see the reverse of this picture. Just know that I had tears rolling down my cheeks this time and he was super excited to be entering the next chapter of his quest for discipleship.

We love you, Elder Clawson!!
