We love Thanksgiving Point!

We had a blast this past week with Tata Ang, Ollie, and Bazy. Here are some pictures from our first visit to Thanksgiving Point for the next year. Many thanks to Ang for the pics. All three times we got together I didn't have my camera!

We opted to get a year membership because of the Farm and Dinosaur museum options for the winter, as well as the discovery gardens and tulip gardens that will be open in the warmer months. Anyone who may visit and would like to join us can get half-off admission as our guests. Pretty fun place, I have to say.

Niko enjoyed running up and down this ramp in the middle of the dino museum.

Niko and Ollie dug for dinosaurs that Angi buried in the sand.

Niko wanted to suck his fingers more than he wanted sand-free hands.

Sammy chatting with the calf.

This guys looks tiny in the pic, but just picture that this head was about 7 feet off the ground!

Niko wasn't so sure about the pony ride.
He's clutching my arm for dear life.

We weren't in outside with the animals even three minutes before Niko had climbed under one of the fences. Luckily, it was with the calf (above), but we definitely are still learning how to be safe around the animals.

  1. Ugg...sorry some of the pictures are sideways. When I look at them in photoshop they are ride side up, so I don't know why they aren't saved that way! Ummmm Amber...help.
Anyway- it IS so much fun, we can't wait to go back!
