A friend of mine in our neighborhood, Melissa, lost her husband a year ago. I don't think they had even been married a year when he was killed in a car accident. Mel is the most incredible example of a faithful, hopeful young widow that I have ever had the opportunity to observe personally. Through Mel, I feel like I've been introduced to her amazing husband, despite the fact that he's currently on the other side of the veil.
