The budding artist...

So, we've experienced some trouble with Niko writing on the office walls. Amber pointed out that he's just doing the same as us writing on the whiteboard. Hmmm.... we're working on that distinction. This is really payback from Heavenly Father to me for putting Chris through the ringer when we were dating with questions like "What will you do when your child takes a permanent marker and writes all over the new leather couch?!?" Instead, he drew all over my brand new office!

This first picture goes with the following story: The first time Niko drew on the walls, it was with green permanent marker (you can still see yellow remnants in the bottom picture). I wanted to demonstrate what we do when this happens, so Niko and I were cleaning the wall with the orange cleaner. I set the bottle down and Niko picked it up. A second later, he started crying, having tried to squirt it, but the bottle was facing him, so instead it squirted into his eye. I scooped him up and stuck his head under the faucet to flush his eye. He didn't like that either. Boy, this kid! I tell ya!!
