This month's theme is "Abracadabra" so we did several magic tricks (thanks to Uncle Michael) and I let the boys try a few of them. The grand finale was "baking a magical cake". Each boy added something to the cake and then we "baked it" with lighter fluid and a flame, covered it to put out the flame, and then voila! The cake appeared with their names written on top! It was cool. Hopefully I can get the video working to show you. Again, thank you so much, Uncle Michael!
I was glad they all came and participated well. I'm looking forward to more inspiration to keep cub scouts fun for these great boys. :)

What a cute Den mom you are! I've always wanted to have that calling and you'd think with 3 boys, I would have had that privilege a few times....BUT NO!!! and now I'm just too darn old to do it.
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing. Great job Genn. Who is that previous comment from? Invite them to our ward.
ReplyDeleteThat previous comment is from a good friend, Gaye. I am privileged to know her through Reach the Children. She is a mover and shaker if there ever was one. She lives in Kaysville and most recently was Relief Society President and now YW Camp Director. A great example of full time service and dedication to lifting others. So, Gaye... you're more than welcome to join our ward in Provo if you ever get the hankering to move!! :)
